Our client came to us with a plan to re-use some old arched ornate windows and doors as a starting point to build an orangery. The orangery turned out to be a beautiful addition to his victorian property in Leighton Buzzard.

We started by taking down an old wall and prepping the hand made clay bricks for use to build the new dwarf wall. The windows and doors were in a terrible state and where unsalvageable new bespoke copies were made on site. a custom ornate fascia board was built onsite to compliment the look of the new extension. We also constructed the concrete sills in position. We used modern systems including Epdm rubber roofing, new double glazed units and wet underfloor heating under travertine tiles to ensure efficiency and longevity. This lovely bright new space gives you all of the modern comforts while stepping back in time a little.
